Irie Dreads Salon is the ideal place for locs, located in the soul of Amsterdam.

Since 2014, we have been working with great passion at this unique location on dreads, repairing damaged or weakened dreads, creating dreadlocks, loose locs and our exclusive and popular 'Beach-Locs'. Our expertise covers every hair type: from European hair, Afro hair, to Asian hair; we can make dreadlocks from all hair structures, from type 1 to type 4. We also utilize the crochet, interlocking, retwist, and locsmitting methods.

What sets Irie Dreads apart from other salons? We use a Loc & Go concept. This means we focus on maintaining and optimizing your locs. You have the option to have your locs maintained in just 1.5 hours, so you can leave the salon feeling fresh and ready. Don't forget to wash your hair at home beforehand!

If you’d prefer to hand it all over, you can also opt for the Loc Detox treatment before washing and drying! Let your locs be wonderfully pampered while you enjoy soothing music under a blanket in the wash chair, and let us do the hard work! Book a double appointment if you want to have your locs touched up immediately after the treatment, or choose the all-in To Go or Get It All treatments.

The salon is fully equipped for peaceful sessions. In a relaxed, bright ambiance with mood music, a cup of Marley Coffee or fresh herbal tea, lovely conversations, and someone who takes the time to care for your hair and advise you on the proper care of your locs, you truly create a moment for yourself.
