Irie Dreads Salon is thé ideal place for locs, located in Amsterdam.

Since 2014, we have been working with passion and dedication at this unique location, focusing on dreadlocks, repairing damaged or weakened locs, creating new dreadlocks, loose locs, and our exclusive and much-loved Beach Locs.

Our expertise covers all hair types — European, Afro, and Asian hair — and all hair structures, from type 1 to type 4. We work with the crochet, interlocking, retwist, and locsmithing methods, always choosing what best suits your hair and your loc journey.

What sets Irie Dreads apart from other salons is our Loc & Go concept. This means we focus on maintaining and optimizing your locs in an efficient way. You can have your locs refreshed in as little as 1.5 hours, so you can leave the salon feeling clean, confident, and renewed. For the best results, we ask that you wash your hair at home before your appointment.

If you prefer to leave everything in our hands, you can also choose one of our wash, dry, and Loc Detox treatments. Relax in our wash chair under a comfortable blanket, enjoy calming music, and let us do the work for you. If you would like your locs maintained straight after the treatment, you can book a double appointment, or choose one of our all-in treatments, such as the To Go or Get It All packages.

Our salon is fully designed for one-on-one sessions. In a calm, light-filled space with good music, great coffee or tea, meaningful conversations, and genuine personal attention, we create a moment just for you. We take the time not only to care for your hair, but also to give advice on the right maintenance and care for your locs.
